NDA 2 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force as officers in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
- Education Qualification: One must have passed for Class 12 i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam from a recognized school.
- Age Limit: One’s DOB i.e. Date Of Birth must not be before July 02, 2005 and after July 1, 2008.

NDA 2 2024 Exam Date
The UPSC has officially announced the date for the NDA (II) 2024 Examination; it will be administered on September 01, 2024. Candidates who will apply to sit in the exam will have to report at the exam centre at least an hour before gate closing with admit card and a photo identity card’s physical copy.
NDA 2 2024 Exam Pattern
The UPSC will hold the NDA (2) 2024 exam in offline mode, in which a total of 300 and 600 marks questions will be asked from Mathematics and General Ability Test, respectively; to touch the maximum number of questions in each paper, a candidate will have an exam duration of 2.5 hours.
There will be a provision of negative marking, 0.83 and 1.33 marks will be deducted for incorrect responses for Mathematics and GAT, respectively, the medium of exam will be only English and Hindi.
NDA 2 2024 Application Fee
To apply for the NDA (II) 2024 Exam, a candidate will have to pay the application fee of ₹100, if he or she belongs to General. Candidates who want to join the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force as officers will have to pay the required amount, if applicable, by deadline using one of the provided payment gateway.
NDA 2 2024 Selection Process
Selection process for the NDA (II) 2024 exam, which is a gateway to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force as officers, consists of two stages, which is the Written Exam and Interview, to be held by SSB. Candidates who apply will be called for the first stage, which will be followed by the second; and then the final selection list will be made public.
