JKCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 12th Class or its equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as core subjects.
- Age Limit: One must be a minimum of 17 years old as of December 31, 2024, there is no cap of upper age limit.
Note:
- A minimum aggregate of 50% marks for General, and those who belong to reserved categories, they need only 45%.
- Students who have already appeared and are waiting for results or going to appear for the 12th (Intermediate) exam with PCM and English are also eligible to apply for JKCET 2024.

JKCET 2024 Exam Pattern
Common Entrance Test 2024 will be held by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations for B.Tech programs in offline mode, in which a total of 180 multiple choice questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, each section had a total number of 60 objective questions.
Students will have a time duration of 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes to solve all the questions asked in the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2024, each question will carry the weightage of 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer, the medium of exam will be English only.
