KCET Counselling 2024
The Karnataka Students who wish to study engineering, pharmacy, medicine, technology, dentistry, or architecture in the government and private colleges of the state take up the KCET examinations.
This year, the KCET exam was held on 18 April to 19 April 2024 and the result was declared recently on 1 June 2024. According to reports, more than 3 lakh students took part in the KCET examinations this year.

KCET Counselling Process 2024
The KCET counselling process begins with the registration of counselling, the candidates have to follow the below counselling process:
- Document Verification and Registration:
- You will have your unique ID and password after document verification, as you will be a verified candidate.
- Choice Filling and Locking:
- The candidates can now enter their preferred choices in the KCET portal through their login credentials in their preferred order.
- Candidates can add and rearrange this list as per their wish before the final date of filling the choice.
- Seat Allotment:
- After the choice-filling final date and locking, the authority will prepare the mock seat allotment based on the merit & rank of the students and the availability of seats in the colleges.
- The candidates can check their probability of admission based on their merit and can change their choices accordingly.
- Candidates who are satisfied with their seats can confirm their allotted seats by paying the seat acceptance fee and downloading the seat allotment slip.
- In KCET counselling, the authority conducts two rounds of counselling along with one extended and a special round.
- Reporting to allotted college:
- Candidates who have accepted their allotted seats must report to their allotted institute within the given time limit with their documents.
- The candidates need to pay the respective tuition fees to proceed with their enrollment in the college.

- Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet
- 2nd PUC scorecard
- KCET 2024 Application Form
- Study Certificate: Proof of Studying in Karnataka for seven years
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Kannada Medium Certificate (if applicable)
- Rural Study Certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (if applicable)
- Two recent passport-size photographs of the candidate
- Affidavit for candidates claiming Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses.
