CAIIB Registration Form 2024

IIBF conducts the CAIIB examinations twice a year (June & December) for banking professionals aiming for career progression. The exams hold great importance in banking sectors as CAIIB provides advanced knowledge of the banking & finance industry which is required to excel in the field.

The registration form for the CAIIB examination under the June cycle started on 7 May 2024 till 13 May 2024. Aspiring candidates who wish to sit in the 2024 CAIIB examinations can register themselves online on the official website of the IIBF. 

According to the IIBF schedule, the CAIIB examinations of the June cycle will commence on the 7, 13, 14, 21, and 27 July 2024. The CAIIB examinations consist of four subjects and one elective subject chosen by the candidate. The Registration of the December CAIIB cycle will begin on 3 September 2024, as per the IIBF schedule.

Important Note: Candidates can also register for the CAIIB exam after 13 May till 27 May 2024 with the following extra charges.

  • Candidates applying from 14 May 2024 to 20 May 2024 will be required to pay ₹100 with normal examination fees.
  • Candidates applying from 21 May 2024 to 27 May 2024 will pay ₹200 with the applicable examination fees.

Eligibility for the 2024 CAIIB Application Form

Interested candidates can check their eligibility to register for the 2024 CAIIB examinations below:

  • The candidates must be members of IIBF.
  • The candidate must have completed the JAIB (Junior Associate of IIBF) or part 1 of the associate Examination.

Number of attempts under the CAIIB examinations

Candidates are allowed to complete the CAIIB examinations in five attempts within three years. The attempted counting will begin from the first registration for the CAIIB examinations. 

You must remember the following points when you apply for the CAIIB examinations:

  • Your attempts would be counted whether you have applied for the examinations or not out of the six examinations. The attempt does not need to be consecutive; you can take the exam after the gap. 
  • If you completed your five attempts within three years or after three years, you must re-enroll on the portal for your new registration.

Candidates would need to pay the following examination fee as per the number of attempts in a 3-year cycle for the CAIIB registration:

Steps to apply for the CAIIB Examinations 2024

Candidates willing to apply for the June 2024 CAIIB exam cycle can apply for the exam in the following steps:

  • Go to the official website of IIBF mentioned above.
  • Next, find the “Examination/ Courses” section on the webpage.
  • Now, click on the “Flagship Courses” and select CAIIB. 
  • Next, click on the “Apply Online” option on the page.
  • Now, log in with your membership ID number and password on the portal.
  • Next, read the rules/syllabus/eligibility/ instructions for the examinations carefully. 
  • Next, enter your details, the medium of the examinations, the center of the exam, and the information about your workplace.
  • Next review all the information and submit the details on the portal to move to the next stage. 
  • Now, select the payment option to pay the examination fees as per your attempt and the week of the registration. 
  • After successful payment, the confirmation message of the successful application will display on your screen in seconds. 
  • Next, save or take a printout of the filled CAIIB registration form for future use.
