BPSSC SI Eligibility Criteria 2024

Eligibility criteria details for the post of Sub Inspector in Home (Police) Department, Government of Bihar in terms of educational qualification, age limit and physical requirements is available below.

  • Educational Qualification: A candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Commerce or Arts from a recognized university in India.
  • Age Limit: One must be between 20 to 37 years (for males) and 20 to 40 years (for females) as of August 1, 2024, and there will be upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST, respectively.

BPSSC SI Application Fee 2024

To apply for recruitment as a Sub Inspector in the Home (Police) Department, a candidate who belongs to General, OBC or EWS, and aspirants from other states are required to pay ₹700/- as application fee, for the SC and ST, it is only ₹400/-. Similarly, female candidates belonging to Bihar will have to also make fee payment of ₹400/- by deadline.
