UKPSC Notification 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications
Before applying, each applicant must meet the minimum educational requirements to be eligible to take the civil service test.
- The minimal educational prerequisite for jobs with serial numbers 1 through 7, as well as 10, 11, and 12, is a bachelor’s degree in any subject from an accredited institution created under Indian law.
- An Indian law-established institution must provide a master’s degree to be considered for the positions of Deputy Education Officer, Staff Officer, and Law Officer.
- Probation officer positions need a post-graduate degree in sociology, applied sociology, or social work from any legally constituted Indian university
Age Limit
- Check the upper age restriction from below. The minimum age requirement for certain UKPSC Group A & Group B roles is 21 years old as of July 1, 2024, and must not have been born after July 1, 2003.

Nationality
In addition to being citizens of India, applicants seeking to compete in the civil services test must meet the additional nationality criteria listed below.

- Before January 1, 1962, Tibetan refugees landed in India to settle there permanently.
- Indian immigrants who left Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or any country in East Africa, such as Kenya, Uganda, or the United Republic of Tanzania.
UKPSC PCS Notification 2024 Selection Process
