NICL AO Eligibility Criteria 2024
To apply online for recruitment of O (Scale I) (Generalist or Specialist), an individual must meet certain eligibility criteria in all terms, which are available below.
Educational Qualifications:
- Doctors (MBBS): M.B.B.S / M.D. / M.S. or PG – Medical Degree from a recognized University.
- Legal: Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Finance: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) OR B.COM / M.COM from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Actuarial: Bachelor / Masters degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial Science or any other quantitative discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Information Technology: B.E / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology/ MCA with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Automobile Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech in Automobile Engineering with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Generalist Officers: Graduate / Post Graduate in any stream from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Hindi (Rajbhasha) Officers: Master’s Degree in Hindi/English/Any subject with specified language combinations and 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
Age Limit:
- To apply online for the post of AO (Scale I) (Generalists & Specialist), one’s age must not be below 21 and above 30 years as of December 31, 2023. There will be upper-age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for OBC (NCL) and SC/ST, respectively.
