JSSC JE Eligibility Criteria 2024

To apply for recruitment of Junior Engineer, a student must match the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit, details, whose details are given below.

  • Educational Qualification: A candidate must have a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in the relevant stream like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or any other, also those who have completed Diploma in the relevant stream of Engineering are eligible to apply for the post.
  • Age Limit: A candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years, upper age limit for General, OBC 1, OBC 2 and SC/ST candidates is 35 years, 38 years and 40 years, respectively.

  • Maximum Marks: 360
  • Question Type: Objective 
  • Marking Scheme:
    • Each question carries 3 marks.
    • For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted (1/3rd of the assigned marks).
  • Sections: Subject Specific
  • Medium: Bilingual (English & Hindi)

Document Verification:

  • Those candidates who will fill the application form will be called for the written exam, after which the document verification will take place and then the final result will be released on the basis of the return exam.
