IIT Madras Junior Technician Recruitment 2024
The IIT Madras has released the recruitment notice for the 41 posts of Junior Technician and Superintending Engineer in its latest notification. The vacancies for the Junior Technician mentioned in the notification is 40, from which one post is reserved for PwD candidates.

Eligibility for the IIT Madras Junior Technician Recruitment 2024
Interested candidates must check the following eligibility criteria for the post of Junior Technician released by IIT Madras:
- The applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
- The upper age limit for the applicants decided by the recruitment board is 27 years for the Junior Technician.
- The applicants must have a three-year Diploma in Engineering/ Bachelor’s Degree in Science with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized Institution/ University of India.
OR the applicant has Post SSLC with a 2-year ITI from a recognized institution with at least 60% marks or CGPA equivalent to 60% with 2 years of experience.

- Go to the online recruitment portal of the IIT Madras. https://recruit.iitm.ac.in.
- Click on the “Apply Online” for the 4 March 2024 Notification.
- Read the instructions on the portal carefully before you proceed with the application.
- Now, go to the General Links section and click the link “To Register”
- On the next page, fill in all the required details such as Name, Category, Postcode, etc., and generate the OTP.
- Tick on the Declaration “I agree” box, enter the captcha in the box, and reverify.
- Now, you will receive the User ID and Password on your registered email or through a text on your mobile number.
- You can apply for the post with the received User ID and Password on the portal.
