The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has announced the commencement of the counselling of COMEDK’s UGET 2024 on 24 May 2024. Candidates who qualified for the UGET 2024 can read the article to learn about the counselling and registration process.
COMEDK Counselling 2024
The COMEDK 2024 Under Graduate Entrance Test for Engineering courses was conducted on 12 May 2024, and the authority declared the result on 24 May 2024.
With the declaration of the results, the COMEDK has begun the process of counselling registration & document upload process for the admission counselling of candidates who have cleared the COMEDK’s UGET-2024 exam.
The registration for the COMEDK counselling commences on 24 May 2024 till the to-be-announced date. The candidates who wish to participate in the counselling have to go through the seat selection and counselling process under the rules of the COMEDK.

The selection of the candidates for seats is based on merit and certain rules of COMEDK counselling. The authorities will soon update the counselling schedule for the students interested in enrolling in Engineering and Architecture UG courses.

Eligibility for the COMEDK Counselling Registration 2024
Candidates applying for the Engineering and Architecture UG courses admission can check the eligibility to register for the COMEDK counselling from the below eligibility criteria:
For Engineering:
- Candidates who have cleared the Class XII/ 2nd PUC exam/ Equivalent courses from a recognized board or institute with English, Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with other subjects. The minimum marks in 12th/2ndPUC/ equivalent source should be at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in individual mandatory subjects.
For architecture:
- A candidate who has passed their 12th examination with at least 50% minimum marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
- Candidates who have passed the 10+3 Diploma examination with Maths as a mandatory subject securing at least 50% marks (45% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates) can also apply for Architecture counselling.
- Candidates who have appeared for the NATA 2024 or JEE 2024.
COMEDK Counselling Process 2024
The candidates will follow the following COMEDK’s Counseling process for admission to UG courses for 2024:
- Registration for the 2024 Counselling participation
- Documents uploaded for verification
- With successful document verification, you are entitled to participate in Round 1 of the counselling.
- Fill in your choice of colleges and courses for the Admission
- After the choice filling, the authority will release the mock allotment of seat allotment results on the website.
- Next, the candidates satisfied with the seat allocation would need to pay the acceptance fee along with the tuition fee to lock the seat and complete the document verification for admission.
- Candidates unsatisfied with the round 1 results can apply for the next rounds. The COMEDK counselling allows counselling for three rounds, where Round 2 has two pages for Karnataka seats and General Merit seats only, so you have three chances to get admission to your desired college.
Documents Required to upload for COMEDK Counselling 2024
Candidates will be required to upload the following documents for the COMEDK’s Counseling:
- ID Proof
- DOB certificate
- Candidate Photo/ Signature
- Parent’s or Guardian Signature
- Scorecard of 12th/ 2nd PUC/ Diploma
- Admit card of 2th/ 2nd PUC/ Equivalent exam
- COMEDK Admit card
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates) and candidates applying for KKR seats
- NATA 2024 (Architecture) or JEE 2024 (Engineering Courses)
Registration Fee for the COMEDK Counselling 2024
The candidates have to register themselves along with a registration fee of ₹2000/- for participating in the COMEDK counselling. The registration fee is non-refundable, so make sure you register carefully with valid information and documents.

Candidates willing to participate in COMEDK’s UGET admission counselling can register for the counselling in the following steps:
- Go to the official website of COMEDK mentioned above
- Next, log in to your Applicant Login ID through the application number and password.
- Now, click on the “Counselling Registration” option on the next page.
- Next, verify your details on the page and pay the registration fee through the given method.
- After successful transactions, close the tab and come back to the application form.
- Now, click on the “Document Upload” option visible on the screen.
- Upload all the required scanned documents as per the course and file format.
- Review once to ensure all the documents are uploaded and clearly visible.
- After the successful registration and documents uploading on the portal, frequently visit the website to check the verification status of the documents you uploaded on the portal.
