The Bihar State University Service Commission has extended the last date till June 25 to apply for the recruitment notice for the Principal posts at various universities of the State. BSUSC Principal Recruitment 2024
The BSUSC released an advertisement to recruit eligible candidates for the Principal posts at various constituent colleges of Bihar State on 15 November 2023. However, due to unavoidable reasons, the commission has to extend the online application date from its previous deadline to 20 May 2024.
Now, the commission has again extended the deadline to apply for the 180 vacancies at various colleges to 25 June 2024. The 180 vacancies are divided into three types- fresh, backlog, and single faulty vacancies with further distribution based on the categories.
According to the notice, the online portal for the application will reopen on 1 June 2024, and the candidates have to apply before 25 June 2024. The commission also notifies candidates to send a hard copy of the submitted application enclosed with other required documents to the postal address of the commission, so it reaches the commission before 10 July 2024.

Eligibility to apply for the BSUSC Principal Recruitment 2024
The candidates who wish to apply for the post of Principal through the BSUSC recruitment drive can check the eligibility criteria below to know whether they can apply for the post or not:
Age limit:
- The maximum age limit of the applicants is 60 years on 15/11/2023.
Educational Qualification:
- You must possess a Ph.D degree to apply for the BSUSC principal post.
- You must have served or have experience of 15 years of teaching in Universities, colleges, and other higher institutes as a Professor or Associate Professor.
- You have a minimum of 10 research publications in UGS-listed journals.
- Your minimum research score should be around 110.
- For single faculty vacancies, the candidates have to fulfill the minimum eligibility of the program offered by the regulatory body of the program, for instance, the Bar Council of India eligibility for law colleges.

- PG Degree Certificate
- Ph.D degree Certificate
- NOC of the parent university
- Category Certificates (if applicable)

- Research/teaching experience certificate

Application Fee for the BSUSC Principal Application 2024
Candidates willing to apply for the BSUSC Principal recruitment need to pay the following application fee during the application according to their category:

Candidates can apply for the Principal Post online from 1 June 2024 by following the below steps:
- Go to the official website of the BSUSC mentioned above.
- Next, click on the “Apply Online” tab at the right-hand corner of the website.
- Next, click on “Apply Online for the post of Principal” to begin the registration process.
- Now, enter your valid email ID and mobile number to register and receive the username and password.
- Next, log in to access the application form and carefully enter all the required details.
- Next, upload the scanned photograph and signature along with other relevant documents proving your claims.
- Now, review the entries before locking all the information on the portal.
- Next, move to the payment page and pay the applicable application fees as per your category.
- After the successful transaction, you will receive a confirmation message on the screen or an acknowledgment message on your registered email ID or mobile number.
- Now, download the hard copy of the submitted application form and take several Xerox copies of all the mentioned documents to speed post to the Commission office at:
