As per notification released officially by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, there are a total number 21 vacancies for the post of Assistant Director (Official Language). ASRB Assistant Director Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Director (Official Language) in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent, with Hindi or English as a subject at the degree level, or a Master’s degree with Hindi/English as a medium of instruction at the degree level.
- Experience: Candidates must possess three years of experience in terminology usage and translation work, preferably in technical or scientific literature, under various governmental or educational organizations.
- Age Limit: One age must not be above 35 years. However, age relaxation is applicable as per government instructions: up to t years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBCs, and up to 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates.

ASRB Assistant Director Application Fee 2024
The application fee to apply for the post of AD (OL) under ASRB for Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories is ₹1000/- using any of the provided payment method. Women, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), and Transgender candidates are exempt from it.
ASRB Assistant Director Selection Process 2024
Selection process for the post Assistant Director (Official Language) under ASRB consists two stages, which are Written Exam and Interview. Candidates may get the details about it from the below.
- Written Exam: The exam for the post of AD (Ol) is scheduled on September 1, 2024 by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board. It will be a Single Composite Objective-cum-Descriptive type Examination.
- Interview: Candidates who clear the initial stage of the Assistant Director (Official Language) exam will undergo a personality test, it is tentatively scheduled to take place in December 2024 in face-to-face mode.
