The Andhra Pradesh government has released the notification of the APTET July 2024 to shortlist candidates for the Teachers Recruitment Test. AP TET Application Form 2024
The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh invites online applications from aspiring teachers for APTET-July 2024. The department conducts the computer-based test to ensure the National Standard & teaching quality is attained during the recruitment process of teachers according to the NCTE rules.
The eligible candidates who aspire to teach in state government, Zilla Parishad, AP Residential schools, Municipality, Mandal Parishad, etc, can apply online as the government has released the application form on 4 July 2024. The candidates should apply for the APTET-July before 17 July 2024, the last date of the application.

The APTET-July 2024 test will be conducted in 24 districts of AP except for AlluriSita Rama Raju (ASR) and Manyam districts, so candidates from these two districts can opt for any nearby district. However, the candidates should quickly select their examination center as the availability of examination centers is based on a first come first basis.

AP TET Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates who meet the following eligibility requirements can apply for the APTET-July 2024 applications:
Educational Qualification:
- The educational qualifications for Paper 1 Part A (for class I – V), Paper 2 Part A (for class VI-VIII), Paper 1 Part B (Special Education for class I – V), and Paper 2 Part B (for special education class VI-VIII) differ from one another.
- Candidates with minimum qualifying marks for the above Papers can apply for the TET. The candidates can check the educational qualification for each paper on the information bulletin of AP TET 2024.
- Candidates with both D.El.Ed and B.Ed qualifications can appear for all papers for primary and upper primary classes.
- Candidates pursuing their final semester of Teaching education through courses recognized by NCTE or RCI can also apply for the APTET-July 2024.
Age Limit:
- There is no age limit for the candidates, the candidates must meet the educational qualification to apply for the examination.
AP TET Examination Fee 2024
Candidates applying for the APTET-July 2024 have to pay ₹750/- for each Paper separately. So, candidates applying for more than one paper must pay the fee separately to appear in the examination.
The payment of the examination fee should be made by 16 July 2024 through your preferred online payment method.
AP TET Application Process 2024
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements and aspire to be a teacher through AP TET can apply for the APTET-July 2024 in the following steps:
- First, go to the Official APTET website at https://cse.ap.gov.in/
- Next, download the information bulletin for AP TET-July 2024 by going to the AP TET July 2024 option on the homepage.
- Next, look for the payment option to make the payment for the AP TET 2024.
- Next, go to the application option and enter your journal number issued when you pay the examination fee.
- Next, upload your latest passport-size photograph and signature in the instructed format.
- Next, tick the declaration, and verification code, and submit them.
- Now, the application will appear on your screen, fill in the required details carefully.
- Next, review the entries by clicking the Preview button.
- If all the entries are correct, submit the application form to the portal.
- After successful online application submission, the candidates will receive a Reference ID number for future use.
- Candidates must download or take a printout of the submitted application of APTET-July 2024 for future use.
