TNSTC Apprentice 2024 Notification
TNSTC Madurai region/ Kumbakonam region/MTC/Chennai invites online applications from eligible Graduate/Diploma holders in Engineering for one-year Apprenticeship training.
According to the notification, the TNSTC plans to fill 688 Apprentices posts through this recruitment drive. The TNSTC has the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per their requirement.
Candidates interested in this recruitment drive can apply online as the application window is activated from 14 June 2024 till 8 July 2024.
The applicants will be shortlisted based on their marks in the eligible qualification applicable to the respective disciplines. The authority will declare the shortlisted candidate’s list on 12 July 2024 and be called for the documents verification at TNSTC, Trichy between 22 July 2024 and 24 July 2024.

On joining, the Technical Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹8000/- and non-technical apprentices will receive ₹9000 as a monthly stipend.

TNSTC Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates willing to apply for the TNSTC apprenticeship 2024-25 program can check their eligibility from the below criteria:
Age Limit:
- The age limit for the Apprenticeship training is 14 years (18 for hazardous industries). The TNSTC apprentice recruitment age limit is as per the Apprenticeship rules.
Educational Qualification (passed during 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023):
- Candidates applying for Graduate Apprentices must possess a graduate degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline with a first-class grant from a recognized institute/ University.
- Candidates applying for Diploma Apprentices must possess a Diploma in Engineering/Technology in a relevant discipline from a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by the State government or from a recognized institute/ University by the Central or State government.
- Candidates applying for non-technical apprentice posts must have a degree in Arts/Science/ Humanities/ Commerce stream such as BA/ B.Sc/ BBA/ B.Sc/BBA/B.Com, etc. from a UGC-approved university or institution.
Documents Required for the TNSTC Apprentice Application 2024-25
The candidate would need the following documents during the TNSTC Apprentices online application:
- Graduation/Diploma Certificate/ Mark sheet
- Tamil Nadu Domicile certificate
- Aadhar card
- Scanned passport-size photo
- Bank account details
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Other relevant documents that prove your application claims.
Steps to apply for TNSTC Apprentice 2024
Eligible and willing candidates can apply for the TNSTC apprentices on the Apprenticeship portal NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) through the following steps:
- Go to the official NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/
- If this is your first time you have to enroll on the portal through the following steps:
- First, click on a student on the NATS portal.
- Now, click on Students Register, ensure you have the documents ready mentioned on the portal, and tick the Yes button.
- On the next page, enter your valid email address and mobile number for OTP verification.
- After the OTP verification, you will be able to access the application form on the portal.
- Next, carefully fill in the application form with valid details.
- Next, review and upload the relevant documents on the portal to complete the registration on the portal.
- Next, a unique 12-digit Enrollment number will be generated that you will use to apply for the apprentice positions.
- Candidates who have already enrolled on the NATS web portal and have the 12-digit enrollment number can directly log in to the portal through Student Login and apply for the TNSTC Apprentice position.

- After you log in to the NATS portal with your Email ID and password.
- Go to the Apply against advertised vacancies section and search for TNSTC Madurai region/ Kumbakonam region/MTC/Chennai, wherever you wish to apply.
- Next, click on the apply button and complete the application process to ensure your candidature for the TNSTC apprentice position.
