TIFR Application Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates can check their eligibility to apply for the TIFR latest recruitment for various posts below:

Age Limit:

The upper age limit for candidates applying for the Project Scientific Officer post is 28 years, 33 years for an Administrative Assistant, and 45 years for Project Work Assistant and Project Clerk posts.
The age relaxation is applicable according to the government rules for candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS/ and other categories.

Educational Qualification:

Project Clerk:

Candidates should be graduates of a recognized University/institute with at least 50% marks, and know typing and computer applications.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience in clerical duties in a reputed and large organization.

Administrative Assistant:

Candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university with at least 55% marks and be proficient in accounting, database, and word processing.
Candidates should have five years of experience in General Admin, Stores, and Accounts in reputed and big organizations.

Project Scientific Officer:

Candidates with a full-time degree in Science/ Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
Candidates with a minimum of one of experience in Science Communication can apply.

Project Work Assistant:

Candidates should have cleared the SSC or equivalent examinations from a recognized board/institution.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in multitasking (MTS) or work assistant experience in a recognized and reputed organization.
