RRB Staff Nurse Eligibility 2024
To apply online for Staff Nurse under the Indian Railways, an individual must have pursued Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognised institution, and one’s age must not be below 20 and above 43 years as of the cut off date.
Note: There will be an upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST, respectively.
RRB Staff Nurse Application Fee 2024
To apply online for the post of Staff Nurse under the Indian Railways, an individual will have to pay the application fee of 500 rupees, and if he or she belongs to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBDs, Female, Transgender, Minorities, Economically Backward Class, then he or she needs to pay only 250 rupees.
Note: Those who will pay ₹500, out of the total, of ₹400 will be refunded after appearing in the Computer-Based Test, and reserved category candidates will get a refund of ₹250.
RRB Staff Nurse Selection Process 2024
Selection process for the post of Staff Nurse consists two stages, which are as follows:
- Computer Based Test
- Document Verification
Candidates who will clear the CBT will be called for Documentation and the final selection list will be prepared.
RRB Staff Nurse Exam Pattern 2024
Written Exam for the post of Staff Nurse under the Indian Railways will be held by the RRBs in the Computer Test mode, a total number of 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked from different sections:
- Professional Ability
- General Awareness
- General Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning
- General Science
Each question will be of 1 mark, and incase of incorrect response, ¼ mark will be deducted, to attempt the maximum number of questions, an individual will get a maximum time duration of an hour and thirty minutes.
