The RPSC invites online applications from Indian nationals for the 09 posts of Assistant Director under the Rajasthan Science and Technology Service Rules 2021 for the Science and Technology Department.

The Commission will conduct an examination followed by an interview for the Assistant Director recruitment. The selection of the candidates is based on the performance of the applicants in the examination and interview. After the appointment, the shortlisted candidates will receive the grade pay of ₹5,400.

RPSC Assistant Director Eligibility 2024

Candidates interested in the RPSC Assistant Director recruitment drive can check the eligibility to apply for the post:

Age Limit: 

  • Applicants’ minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age should be 40 years on 1 January 2025. 
  • The male candidates from SC/ST/ BC/ EWS/MBC categories have an upper age relaxation of 5 years, whereas women candidates have 10 years of relaxation. 
  • Women candidates from the general category have 5 years of upper-age relaxation.
  • The widow and divorced women have no upper age limit to apply for the post.
  • The other age relaxation applicable for PwBD and Ex-SW is according to the government of India guidelines.

Educational Qualification:

  • The candidates must possess the first class Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural sciences/ first class Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology/ M.Sc or M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS from a recognized university.
  • The candidates who appeared in the final year examination can also apply for the posts, but he/she should present proof of acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above before the interview. 
  • The candidate must have gained two years of specialized experience in research & development/academic institutions/ industrial/ Science & technology organizations. 
  • The candidates must possess a working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.
  • He/she should be familiar with Rajasthani culture. 

RPSC Assistant Director OTR Application Fee 2024

Candidates who wish to apply for the RPSC Assistant Director post first have to complete his/her One-Time Registration (OTR) profile, the application fee under the OTR application according to the category is as follows:

  • Next, click on the SSO portal link and register to the portal through the option applicable to you. 
  • Next, go to the Recruitment portal in the citizen apps section for OTR registration. If you have done the OTR registration, then you can directly move to the application form on the SSO recruitment portal. 
  • The candidates registering for the first time for OTR need to complete the OTR profile with the required information, such as DOB, father’s name, PAN card, etc. 
  • Next, pay the OTR registration fee applicable to you according to your category. 
  • Now, you will get your OTR number which you can use to apply online for the Assistant Director post on the portal. 
  • After accessing the application form through your OTR, carefully fill in the entries on the application form. 
  • Next, upload the documents, recent passport-size photograph, and signature on the portal that proves your claims in the application. 
  • Next, submit all the details and complete your application for the Assistant Director post. 
  • Remember, to save or take a printout of the submitted RPSC application for the future purpose.
