Punjab Civil Judge Eligibility Criteria 2024

Eligibility criteria to participate in the Punjab Judicial Services Examination 2024 for the post of Civil Judge in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below. 

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized university and be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961, or eligible for enrollment.
  • Age Limit: A candidate must not be below 21 and above 35 years, with an upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for Other Backward Class and Scheduled Tribes & Schedule Caste, respectively.

Punjab Judicial Services Application & Examination Fee 2024

To apply for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) under Judicial Services, a candidate will have to make payment of ₹500 as application fee, whether he or she belongs to any category. Additionally, there is an examination fee of ₹1000 and ₹250 for General and SC/ST & BC, respectively.
