The primary education department of PCMC is inviting applications from eligible candidates through offline mode for the contractual recruitment of Assistant Teachers and graduate teachers from Urdu, Marathi, and Hindi mediums. 

Interested candidates must send their application to PCMC offline by 16 April 2024. PCMC has announced vacancies for 327 posts for the academic year 2024-25.  There is no application fee for the PCMC Teacher Recruitment 2024.

Vacancy details of the PCMC Teacher Recruitment 2024

The latest notification of PCMC has invited applications for a total of 327 posts in Marathi, Urdu, and Hindi mediums. 

The candidates will be appointed on contract on consolidated remuneration. The selected candidates will be appointed for the academic year 2024-2025 for 11 months (excluding summer and Diwali vacations) and will be terminated after 11 months without prior notice.

PCMC Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2024

Interested candidates can check the following eligibility criteria set by the recruitment body got the 327 posts of PCMC Teacher Recruitment 2024:

  • The applicants applying for the post of Assistant Teacher (Marathi, Hindi, and Urdu mediums) are required to have a higher secondary certificate (HSC) and diploma in Education (D.Ed).
  • The applicants applying for the post of Graduate Teachers (Marathi, Hindi, and Urdu mediums) are required to have the following certificates in Science subject or language/ Sociology:
  • Higher Secondary Certificate
  • Diploma in Education (D.Ed)
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) 

The candidates need to attach copies of these certificates along with other documents such as school leaving certificate, experience certificate, etc. It’s mandatory to send copies of the required documents with their application form for the PCMC Teacher Recruitment 2024.
