OSSSC Lab Technician Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for the post of Lab Technician in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.

  • Educational Qualification:
    • A candidate must pass the Immediate exam, and he or she has pursued a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology, or; an individual must have pursued Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Lab Technology.
    • The applicant must be registered in the Laboratory Technician Council and he or she must have a valid registration certificate, additionally, he or she must have ability to read, write and speak the Odia language.
  • Age Limit: 
    • A candidate must have turned at least 21 years by the last date of application form submission for the post of Lab Technician.
    • The upper age limit for General male candidates is 38 years, and for female individuals & SC, ST and SEBC is 42 years.
