OSAP IRB Eligibility Criteria 2024

To apply online for Constable or Sepoy in India Reserve Battalion or Odisha Special Armed Police, an individual must have passed the Intermediate exam from a recognized State or Central board with Odia as the main subject, and the applicant’s age must not be below 18 and above 23 years.

OSAP IRB Selection Process 2024

The selection process for the post of Sepoy or Constable in the India Reserve Battalion or Odisha Special Armed Police consists of four stages, which are a Written Exam, 

Written Exam:

• Mode: Offline 
• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Time: 120 Minutes
• Subjects: General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English Language, Odia Grammar, Situational Awareness, Basic Computer.
• Medium: English & Odia

Physical Measurement Test (PST):

• UR/SEBC:
  • Height: 168 cm
  • Weight: 55 kg
  • Chest: 79 cm – 84 cm
• SC/ST:
  • Height: 163 cm
  • Weight: 50 kg
  • Chest: 76 cm – 81 cm

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Running: 1.6 KM in 6 minutes
• Broad Jump: 4 Meter (3 Maximum Attempts)
• High Jump: 1.38 Meter (3 Maximum Attempts)

Medical Test & Certificate Verification:

• Candidates who clear the first three stages will be called for the last two, and then the final selection list will be made public.
