OJEE Counselling 2024

The OJEE conducted the OJEE exams on 6 -10 May 2024 and the results were out on 3 June 2024. The students who appeared for the OJEE examination are now waiting for the OJEE counselling notification.

OJEE has released a notice regarding the 2024 OJEE counseling to enroll students into Technical undergraduate courses, such as B. Tech, B. Plan, integrated M.Sc, and many more in private and state government colleges/ institutes,/ Universities.

According to the notification, the candidates can expect the counseling process to begin in the second or third week of June 2024. The candidates must register timely to participate in the counselling once the application portal is opened.

The candidates will be shortlisted based on their JEE (Main)/ OJEE scores and rank for the seat allotment.

OJEE Web Counseling Eligibility 2024

Candidates wishing to participate in the online counselling conducted by the OJEE can check their eligibility from the below eligibility criteria:

Candidates have appeared for the 2024 JEE(Mains)/OJEE 2024.
Candidates must have passed the Class XII or equivalent examination from any ODisha school or outside the state.
Candidates must have scored at least 50% in class XII Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry subjects (40% for SC/ST candidates).

OJEE Counselling Process 2024

Candidates can participate in the OJEE web counselling under the following process:

Counselling Registration: Candidates have to first register for admission counselling on the official OJEE website before the deadline.
Choice Filling and locking the options: After the registration, the candidates must fill in their preference of colleges and courses for the counselling in the given time frame before locking it. You can add, edit, or make any changes to your choices before the deadline.
Mock Seat allotment: The authority will release the Mock Seat Allotment list based on the preferences, availability of seats, and rank of the candidates. The final seat allotment list will be released shortly after this for the candidates to lock in their seats or opt for another round of counselling.
Document Verification: Satisfied with the seat allotments, candidates need to upload the documents for document verification and pay the fees to lock the seats.
Admission: After the document verification, candidates need to report to the respective colleges to complete the enrollment process and pay the remaining admission fee.

Application fee for the OJEE web Counseling 2024

Candidates would need to pay the following application fee to participate in the 2024 OJEE counselling:

All the candidates have to pay a non-refundable ₹450/- as the OJEE counseling application fee during the registration.
The shortlisted candidates have to pay ₹5000 or ₹10,000 as the seat confirmation fees based on their categories.

Next, navigate to the candidate’s corner and find the OJEE counselling 2024 Registration link.
Next, read the instructions and tick the I Agree declaration to move to the next stage.
Next, enter your required details, such as JEE Main application number, DOB, name, etc.
Next, create the password and complete the registration process.
Now, log in to the portal through your login credentials and access the OJEE counselling application form.
Now, carefully enter all the required details in the application form and click on the Save & next option.
Next, enter educational and valid communication details on the portal.
