The Indian Navy has released the notice for becoming permanent Commissioned Officers under the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme for the 4 years B.Tech course commencing in January 2025. Candidates may check the eligibility and other details from below.
Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry 2024 Notification
The Indian Navy invites online applications from unmarried male/female candidates under the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet entry to become Permanent Commissioned Officers in Technical & executive branches after they complete the four-year B.Tech course at the prestigious Indian Navy Academy.
According to the notice in the newspaper, the Indian Navy has 40 vacancies for the course commencing in January 2025. The vacancies are tentative, they can be changed depending on the training slots availability. The maximum eight vacancies are for female candidates under the scheme.
Candidates who have appeared for the 2024 JEE Main examinations and meet the eligibility requirements can apply online for recruitment from 6 July 2024 to 20 July 2024.

Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry 2024 Selection Process
The candidates who wish to enroll in the 4-year B.Tech course to become Permanent commission officers in the Indian Navy will be selected based on the following selection process:
- The applicants would be called for the SSB interview based on their JEE Main 2024 examination rank and educational qualification.
- The Services selection board conducts the SSB interview to assess the intelligence, suitability, and capability of the candidates for the Indian Navy.
- For candidates who clear the SSB interview, a merit list will be prepared based on their SSB marks and will go through a medical examination as per the Indian Navy standard. The medically fit candidates have to present the police verification and character verification for the final cadet entry in the Indian Navy.
Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry 2024 Eligibility

Age Limit:
- The applicants must be born between 2 July 2005 and 1 January 2008 including both dates.
Educational Qualification:
- The applicants must have cleared the Senior Secondary Examination or equivalent course from any recognized board or institution securing at least 70% marks in PCM and 50|% marks in English subjects in either class X or XII.
- Applicants must have cleared the JEE Mains 2024 examination to apply for the Indian Navy B.Tech course.
