MHT CET Counselling 2024 – CAP Round 1 Schedule and Registration Fee 

Counselling for MHT CET 2024 for PCB and PCM stream will be held through the Centralized Admission Process by State CET Cell, Maharashtra. Candidates who have passed the entrance exam for BE/BTech for BPharm/PharmD will be able to participate in the CAP.

MHT CET Counselling 2024

Candidates who took part in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2024 for PCB and PCM stream will be able to apply for the Centralized Admission Process via the official website of the State CET Cell, Maharashtra for engineering and pharmacy courses. You may check the complete counselling procedure from below:

  • Registration: Candidates need to register on the official website of the State CET Cell, Maharashtra to participate in the counselling process.
  • Document Verification: After registration, candidates’ documents will be reviewed by concerned officials to ensure their eligibility for the counselling process for BE/BTech or BPhram/PhramD.
  • Provisional Merit List: The provisional merit list is published based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance exam and other eligibility criteria.
  • Grievance Submission: Candidates have the opportunity to submit grievances regarding any discrepancies in the provisional merit list.
  • Final Merit List: After considering any grievances, the final merit list is released by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra on the respective webportal.
  • CAP Application Form: Candidates need to fill out the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) application form, which includes choosing their preferred colleges and courses.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on the final merit list and the choices filled by candidates, seats are allocated in various colleges and courses, and then they will be able to check that he or she has allocated his preference seat or not.
  • Freeze/Float: Candidates who will be satisfied with their allocated seat will have to choose to freeze it, while those who wish to participate in further rounds of counselling will have to close float.

Note: After accepting the allocated seat, a candidate will have to report at respective institution with required documents and fee for admission confirmation.

MHT CET Counselling Processing Fee 2024

The application fee for the MHT CET 2024 counselling process is set at ₹800 for General aspirants and ₹600 for reserved category candidates such as SC, ST, OBC, VJ/DT (NT-A), NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, SBC, OSBC and EWS in Maharashtra. It is non-refundable and must be paid online through the official website of the State CET Cell, Maharashtra during the registration process.
