Jharkhand Primary Teacher Notification 2024

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission announces the recruitment of PRT for Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8 in government schools across Jharkhand. Eligible candidates are invited to submit their online applications from March 23 to April 6, 2024. Jharkhand Primary Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2024

Eligibility criteria for the Primary Teacher for Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8 in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.

Education Qualification:

  • Candidates for teaching positions in Class 1 to 5 need an Intermediate qualification, a 2-year DElEd, and must pass CTET or JTET Paper I.
  • Candidates aspiring to teach classes 6 to 8 must hold a Bachelor’s degree and complete a two-year DElEd/BEd program. Additionally, they must pass the CTET/JTET Paper II exam.

Age Limit: 

  • To apply for Primary Teacher for Class 1 to 5 or Class 6 to 8, one’s age must not be below 21 and above 40 years, and there will be upper age relaxation for 2 years EBC – 1 / BC – 2 (Male), for 3 years for General / EWS / EBC – 1 / BC – 2 (Female) and 5 years for SC / ST (Male and Female).

Jharkhand Primary Teacher Application Fee 2024

The application fee for recruitment of Primary Teacher, an aspirant who belongs to General, EBC, BC-1, and BC-2 will have to pay only ₹100, while for SC and ST candidates belonging to Jharkhand State, it’s ₹50. Candidates will have to pay the required amount using a debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI.
