JAC Delhi Counselling 2024
The Government of NCT Delhi has initiated the JAC for admission Counselling to Delhi Government-funded institutes/universities’ undergraduate programs. The government aimed to provide a seamless admission facility for students and guardians through single Counselling for admission in various colleges in Delhi.
This initiative saves time for students as they don’t have to attend multiple admission Counselling for various programs, such as Engineering, Management, and Architect. For this year’s Counselling, students who want to pursue BTech, B.Arch, and BE can participate in the Counselling.

The JAC was scheduled to open the registration portal on 15 May 2024, however, the committee has yet to release any notice about the same, candidates must keep an eye on the website as it can be announced anytime soon. Eligibility Criteria to Participate in JAC Delhi Counselling 2024
Candidates can check their eligibility to register for the 2024 JAC Delhi Counselling from the below eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- The Committee has not mentioned any age limit to apply for the JAC 2024 Counselling.
Education Qualification:
- Applicants must have cleared the 12th examination or equivalent course from a recognized board or institute, and he or she pass the JEE Main exam.
- The educational qualification and minimum marks required for different programs may vary according to the program, so you must check the official prospectus of JAC Delhi Counselling, once the committee releases it.
Seat Availability for the JAC Counselling 2024
Five institutes are participating in 2024 JAc Counselling, where the candidates will have the following seat availability:
- According to the eligibility as per region, the candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from the school located inside NCT Delhi have 85% of seats available.
- Candidates from outside NCT Delhi will have 15% of seats available for them through JAC Counselling.

Candidates would need the following documents in hand to register for the 2024 JAC Counselling:
- 2024 JEE Main Roll Number
- Scanned Passport Size photograph
- Class 12th Marksheet
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Residential Certificate
- Valid mobile number
JAC Delhi Registration Fee 2024
According to the JAC, the candidates will need to pay ₹1500 as a registration fee to participate in the Counselling.
Once the candidates are shortlisted with allotted seats will go through document verification, and after the approval, they have to pay the seat acceptance fee to secure their seats. The candidates should keep their admission fee ready to lock the seat in their desired college.
Steps to register for the JAC Delhi Counselling 2024
Candidates can follow the below steps to register for the 2024 JAC Counselling for admission in various government colleges:
- Go to the official website of the JAC Delhi mentioned above.
- Now, log in to the portal using your name & 2024 JEE Main application number.
- Next, click on the registration tab and enter all the required details asked on the portal from DOB to educational qualifications.
- Now, enter your preferences in institutes and courses in the next segment.
- Once you locked your preferences, pay the registration fees.
- After a successful transaction, your registration for the JAC Counselling will be completed.
- You must take a printout of the application as it will be needed at the time of document verification after the seat allotment.
