As per notification released officially by the Space Application Centre, Indian Space Research Organization, there are a total number of 19 vacancies for the post of Group “A” Scientist/Engineer- SC, out of total of vacancies 08 for SAC, Ahmedabad and 11 for NRSC, Hyderabad. 

ISRO SAC Scientist Eligibility Criteria 2023

Eligibility criteria for the post of Group “A” Scientist / Engineer- SC under the SAC and NRSC in terms of educational qualification and age limit are available inside the table below.

Scientist/Engineer-SC (Atmospheric Sciences and Oceanography) B.Sc. with 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 in Physics/Mathematics; M.Sc. in Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, etc. with 65% marks or CGPA 6.84
Scientist/Engineer-SC (Computer Science Engineering) B.E. or B.Tech. in Computer Eng., CS Eng., IT with 65% marks or CGPA 6.84; M.E. or M.Tech. in CS Eng. with 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 One’s age must be between 18 and 30 years. 

Note: Before applying for any of the above mentioned posts, it is highly recommended to check the notification brochure to verify the educational qualification details, and you note that there will be upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

ISRO Scientist / Engineer Application Fee 2024

To apply online for the post of Group “A” Scientist / Engineer- SC, an individual will have to pay ₹750, whether he or she belong to any category, Women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen, and PwBD will get the refund full of the fee, while General are gonna receive only ₹500.

    • Computer Science Engineering: 75 Minutes

    • Computer Science Engineering: 60 Marks

    • 1/3 mark deduction for each incorrect answer

Part B: Aptitude/Ability Tests (Common for All Posts)

  • Duration: 30 Minutes

    • Numerical reasoning, logical reasoning, diagrammatic reasoning, abstract reasoning, and deductive reasoning.

  • Duration:30 Minutes
  • Total Marks: 20 Marks
