IIT, Madras will make public the admit card in the official website at https://jam.iitm.ac.in/ or https://joaps.iitm.ac.in/, and each individual who registered themselves to participate in the exam will be able to download the hall ticket and make a print copy to carry it to the respective JAM 2024 exam centre on the exam day.

IIT Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 will be held by Indian Institute of Technology, Madras on 11th February 2024 (Sunday) in the Morning from 9:30 am to 12;30 pm and in the Evening from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm with exam time duration of 03 hours i.e. 180 minutes in the Computer Based Test mode.
Note: Candidates who are going to participate in the IIT JAM 2024 need to know that for morning and evening shifts, each and every single individual will have to report at the respective exam centre by 08:00 am and 01:00 pm, respectively, with an photo identity card and physical copy of hall ticket.
IIT JAM Exam Pattern 2024
Exam for the IIT Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 will be held by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in the CBT mode with an exam time duration 180 minutes, a total number of 60 different types of questions asked from Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geology, Economics, Mathematical Statistics.
The total weightage of the questions paper is going to be 100 marks, and different types of questions are going to be of 2 and 1 mark, there will be also a provision of negative marking in Section A, for an incorrect response, ⅓ and ⅔ mark will be deducted for 1 and 2 marks questions, respectively.
