ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment 2024
ICF Chennai invites online applications to recruit eligible candidates for the apprenticeship training program in the various designated trades.
According to the notification, ICF has rolled out a total of 1010 apprentice seats for this recruitment drive. The apprentice seats of ICF Chennai are divided between freshers and ex-ITI candidates.
Interested candidates have to submit an online application to participate in the Apprenticeship training program. The application portal has been open from 22 May 2024 till 21 June 2024 for candidates to register themselves for the ICF apprentice recruitment.

The selection of the freshers candidates is merit-based, the list will be prepared based on the class 10th marks. The Ex-ITI candidate’s selections will be based on their experience and qualification.

Eligibility Criteria for the ICF Chennai Apprentice 2024
Candidates interested in applying for the ICF Apprentice recruitment can check their eligibility to apply from the following eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- The ITI applicants must come under the age bar of 15 years to 24 years of age.
- The non-ITI applicants must come under the age bracket of 15 years to 22 years of age.
- The upper age relaxation is applicable – 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwD.
Educational Qualification:
For Ex-ITI:
- Candidates applying for Fitter, electrician, and Machinist should have cleared their Class X with a minimum of 50% marks and Science & math in 10+2. He/ she should also possess a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade from the National or State Council.
- Candidates applying for Carpenter, Painter, & Welder should possess an NTC certificate issued by the National or State Council for Vocational Training.
- Candidates applying for the PASSA trade must have cleared Class X and possess an NTC certificate in the Computer Operator and Programming Assistance trade.
For Freshers:
- The freshers applying for a fitter, electrician, & Machinist should have passed the Class X examinations with a minimum of 50% marks and science & math in the 10+2 system.
- Freshers candidates applying for Carpenter, painter, & welder should have cleared the class X standard with 50% marks.
- Freshers applying for MLT Radiology and Pathology should have cleared the class XII examination with PCB.

Steps to apply for the ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment 2024
Candidates willing to apply for the ICF Chennai Apprentices can follow the below steps to complete the application process:
- Go to the web portal of ICF at https://pb.icf.gov.in/
- Next, click on Apply for Act Apprentice 2024-25 mentioned on the website.
- Now, click on Fill the Online Application option and choose from the EX-ITI or Fresher option as per your qualification.
- Next, enter all the required details asked on the next page to register yourself on the portal.
- Review all the information before locking it to receive the OTP.
- After the OTP verification, upload the passport-size photo and other relevant documents proving your claims.
- Next, pay the application through your preferred means to complete the registration.
- After the successful transaction of the fee, generate the acknowledgment form from the system.
- Next, take a printout of the acknowledgment form as you will need to show the form at the time of document verification.
