The application form for Common Entrance Test 2024 has been officially released by Himachal Pradesh Technical University on 18 March 2024. Those who want to get admission in undergraduate or postgraduate professional courses by appearing in this exam can submit their applications on or before 18 April 2024.

The HP Technical University has released the notification for the Common Entrance Test 2024. Interested candidates must apply by April 18, 2024, for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses such as Engineering, Pharmacy, and Management. HPCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria details for HPCET 2024 in terms of educational qualification and age limit are available below for each course.

B.Pharmacy Allopathy Passed 10+2 or equivalent with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) Must be 17 years old by 31st December 2024.
B.Tech Passed 10+2 or equivalent with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) There is a cap for upper or lower age limit.
MCA Graduation in BCA/B.Sc./B.Tech/B.E or equivalent with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
MBA Graduation in any stream with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)

Those candidates who are going to appear or have appeared in the qualifying exam this year and are waiting for the result can apply to appear in HPCET 2024 to be HIMTU.

HPCET 2024 Application Fee 

Those who are going to apply for HPCET 2024 for B.Tech/B.Pharma/MCA/MBA courses, for them, the application fee is ₹1600/-, while for SC/ST/BPL candidates, it is only ₹800/-. However, for combined courses like B.Tech & B.Pharm or MBA & MBA (T&HM), the amount is ₹3200/- for General and ₹1600/- for SC/ST/BPL category candidates.

HPCET 2024 Exam Date 

The date for the Common Entrance Test 2024 has been officially announced by HIMTU, this exam will be held on 10 May 2024. All the students who are going to appear in this exam will be able to download and print their admit card one week before the exam by providing the login credentials so that they can take it to the centre on the day of this exam.
