DVC JE Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for the post of Junior Engineer (Garde II) for various streams in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.

To apply for recruitment of Junior Engineer (Grade II) in Human Resource Department, DVC, a candidate who belongs to General, OBC (NCL) or EWS will have to make payment of ₹300/- using one of the provided payment gateway, aspirants belonging to SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-SM categories & DVC Departmental candidates are

DVC JE Selection Process 2024

Selection process for the post of Junior Engineer (Garde II) consists of two stages, which are Written Exam and Documentation.

Written Exam:

  • Exam Mode: Computer Based Test
  • Duration: 2 Hours 
  • Total Questions: 100 (30 questions for General Aptitude Test and 70 questions for Technical Knowledge Test)
  • Maximum Marks: 100
  • Question Type: Objective type (each question with four answer options)
  • Marking Scheme:
    • Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
    • There’s a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. 
    • No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.
  • Sections:
    • General Aptitude Test (GAT)
    • Technical Knowledge Test (TKT)
  • Medium: The question paper is bilingual, available in both English and Hindi, except for the test of English knowledge.

Documentation:

  • Candidates need to produce original proof of identity such as Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Pan Card, Driving License, Passport, etc., during the document verification process.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email about the date, time, and venue of the document verification process, which will also be hosted on the DVC website.
