Delhi University has opened the registration window for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) for Undergraduate programs offered by the UoD. Students wishing to enroll in the various streams of undergraduate programs at UoD can read the article to learn about UG admission to DU through CSAS.
DU UG Admission 2024
The University of Delhi (UoD) has launched the CSAS for admission in various streams of Undergraduate programs for the academic session 2024-25.
Candidates who appeared for the 2024 Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (CUET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency can register for CSAS to enroll in UoD UG programs.
The candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on their CUET-UG scores, 12th scores, and fulfillment of program-specific eligibility criteria. The Dean of DU also confirmed the single-child girl students’ enrollment in every course as part of supernumerary seats in every course of colleges UoD.
Candidates have to register for the DU UG CSAS portal to participate in the seat allocation in admission to UG programs of all the colleges of UoD. The CSAS system is segmented into three phases – Application to the DU, selecting preference for Programs and Colleges, and seat allocation and admission procedures in the allocated colleges.
Delhi University launched a portal for admissions to 71,000 academic seats under the UG program on 28 May 2024. The last date to register for the CSAS 2024 has not been revealed yet, so register quickly.

Eligibility for the DU UG Admission 2024
The students seeking to pursue their graduation in UoD can check their eligibility criteria to register for DU CSAS below:
- Applicants must have passed the class XII examinations or equivalent courses from a recognized board or institute.
- Candidates must have appeared for the 2024 CUET-UG examinations in subjects that he/she has studied in XII standard.
- The students should meet the program-specific eligibility criteria mentioned in the UG BOI.
Documents Required for the DU UG Application 2024
Candidates would need to upload the following documents at the time of application, so make sure you have all the documents:
- Class X & XII passing certificate and mark sheet
- Minority certificate (if applicable)
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- EWS certificate
- ESA/ Sports Supernumerary quota students must upload self-attested copies of relevant certificates.
- Orphan certificate (if applicable)
- For sports, health education, and B.Sc PE must upload the Medical fitness certificate and three sports proficiency certificates.
- Educational Concession Certificate (if applicable)
- Kashmiri Migrant Category (if applicable)
CSAS (UG) 2024 Application Fee for the DU UG Admission
Candidates have to pay the following application fee during the CSAS registration based on their category:

The students have to pay additional fees when they meet the following conditions:
- Candidates applying for BA(H) Music, BFA, B.Sc (PE, HE &S) have to pay a non-refundable additional fee of ₹400 along with the above-mentioned application fee.
- Candidates applying for the Sports supernumerary quota and ECA have to pay an additional fee of ₹100 for each quota they are applying for in the DU UG admissions.
Steps to apply for the DU UG CSAS 2024
The candidates seeking to enroll in UG programs of UoD can follow the below steps to register for the DU UD CSAS 2024:
- Go to the official website for the DU admissions mentioned above.
- Next, click on New Registration if this is your first time, or scroll down to enter the CUET application number and password for already registered candidates.
- The new joiners should complete the registration to receive login credentials.
- Next, log in to the portal to access the 2024 DU UG admission application form.
- Now, enter all the required details in the application form carefully as once the form is submitted you can alter or edit the details.
- Review the entries and save the details on the portal to move to the next stage.
- Next, upload the relevant documents to support your claims in the application form.
- Next, move to the payment stage and pay the application and additional fee (if any) as per your course and category through your preferred online method.
- After a successful transaction, the candidates will receive a confirmation message on the registered communication details.
- The candidates must save or take a printout of the submitted application for future purposes.
After the results of CUET UG 2024, the authority will open the window for the Preference-filling phase where you have to select your choices in colleges and programs. The candidates can reorder the preferences until the TBA deadline.
