The BSSC may release the notification for recruitment of Pharmacists between April and June 2024. Interested candidates will apply on the official website at https://onlinebssc.com/ by providing required details and documents. BSSC Pharmacist Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility criteria for the post of Pharmacist in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
- Educational Qualification: A candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, alternatively diploma holders are eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 18, and the upper age limit for General, OBC and SC/ST is 37, 40 and 42 years, respectively.

BSSC Pharmacist Application Fee 2024
To apply for recruitment of Pharmacist, a candidate will have to pay the application fee of ₹750 using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway, if he or she belongs to General or Other Backward Class. Scheduled Caste/Tribes aspirants are required to pay the only ₹250, if he or she is a permanent resident of Bihar.
BSSC Pharmacist Selection Process 2024
Selection process for the post of Pharmacist consists of two stages, which are Written Exam and Interview. Candidates may check the details about it from below.
- Written Exam:
- A candidate who will apply will be called for this stage, it will be held in offline mode.
- There will be a total number of 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked from each General Knowledge and Domain Knowledge.
- Each question will be of 1 mark, and incase of incorrect response 0.25 mask.
- To touch the maximum number question, a candidate will have an exam time duration 02 hours 15 minutes.
- Interview:
- Candidates who clear the first stage of the selection process will be called for this stage.
- It will be administered in the face-to-face mode, whose medium will be English or English, as per the candidate’s choice.
Candidates who will clear both stage will be shortlisted for appointment as Pharmacist after the Document Verification.
