GIMS Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 for 100 Vacancies, Apply Online Now

On August 9, 2026, the Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida released the notification for recruitment of Staff Nurse and invited candidates to apply online through the institution’s official website, https://gims.ac.in/, from August 10, 2026. The due date to apply online for this recruitment drive is set as September 7, 2026. 

Aspirants who are interested in getting appointed as Staff Nurse under the GIMS, Greater Noida, are recommended to apply online without waiting for the last date. To apply for the same, you have to provide details, upload documents and pay the application fee. They will accept your online application form only if you don’t make any mistakes in it.

Number Of Vacancies 

There are a total of 100 vacancies. Out of total, 40 for General, 27 for Other Backward Class, 21 for Scheduled Caste, 2 for Scheduled Tribes, and 10 for Economically Weaker Section. 

Eligibility Criteria 

You can apply it you have pursued four-year Bachelors of Science (Nursing), two-year Post-Basic BSc (Nursing), or GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) and least 2 years’ work experience in a hospital having a minimum of 50 beds, and permanent registration with the UP Nurses & Midwives Council or Indian Nursing Council.

Additionally, you shouldn’t be younger than 21 years and older than 40 years as of July 1, 2026. The age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh. To claim the relaxation, it is mandatory that you have a required category certificate issued for the Government of UP.

There is no application fee for the candidates who are Physically Handicapped. The payable amount is non-refundable, you can use debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI to deposit the required amount. The due date is September 7, 2026, so make sure you pay it by time otherwise you won’t be able to apply.

Selection Process 

The selection process has only one stage, which is a computer-based test. The date of the same isn’t yet announced. The institution will prepare the final selection list based on candidate performance in this only examination. In the CBT, they will ask 100 objective-type questions from three different sections, which are as follows.

Each question in this examination is set to be one  mark, and there will also be a provision of negative marking of 0.25 mark. They will conduct it with a time duration of 2 hours, and the medium is set to be both English and Hindi. 

Pay Scale 

After appointment you will get a salary as per Level 7, whose basic pay ranges from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 with the grade pay of ₹4,600. The amount you will get in-hand includes basic pay, dearness allowance, and other benefits after the deduction of applicable taxes and pension.
