What after the UPTAC BTech Seat Allotment 2024?
Following the release of the seat allotment results for UP Technical Admission Counselling Round 2 for four-year of Bachelor’s of Technology for academic year 2024-25 on August 16, candidates must promptly complete the next steps between 16 and August 19, 2024.
After the seat allotment result candidates need to indicate their choice of willingness, selecting either to freeze their allotted seat, for admission confirmation or float to be considered in the subsequent round for betterment.
Candidates who will be satisfied with the allocated seat and choose the option of freeze must pay a seat confirmation fee of ₹20,000 (for general candidates) or ₹12,000 (for reserved category candidates) by August 19, 2024 to secure their seat.
If after the payment of seat confirmation fee, a candidate changes his/her mind, he or she can open the option to withdraw, deadline for which is August 19, 2024, candidates need to know that they will receive a refund of only ₹15,000 (for general candidates) or ₹9,000 (for reserved category candidates).

If a candidate is not allocated a seat in Round 2 of the UP Technical Admission Counselling for four-years Bachelor’s of Technology for academic year 2024-25, they should not be discouraged. Instead, they have the opportunity to participate in the next phase of the admission process.
