Eligibility Criteria for UP CPET 2025 Counselling
Eligibility criteria for the counselling of the Common Paramedical Entrance Test 2025 for paramedical bachelor’s degree courses are available below in different terms.
- Qualifying: Only candidates who have passed the Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET) 2025 conducted by ABVMU, Uttar Pradesh.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in 12th Class:
- Eligible for all Bachelor’s Paramedical Courses with a minimum of 45% marks in PCB and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in 12th Class:
- Eligible for Bachelor of Optometry and Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology with a minimum of 45% marks in PCM and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology in 12th Class:
- Eligible for Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology with a minimum of 45% marks in these subjects and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in 12th Class:
- Domicile:
- Candidates must be a domicile of UP (having the domicile certificate issued by a competent authority or having passed both 10th and 12th board exam from Uttar Pradesh).
- Age Limit:
- Minimum age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2025.
- Maximum age limit of 30 years for B.Sc. Paramedical courses in SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
- No maximum age limit for other institutes.

Stages of the UP Paramedical Counselling 2025

- Online Registration: One has to register online using CPET 2025 Registration ID and Password from July. Update 12th marks, domicile, and category details. Upload Class 10th and 12th mark sheets. Pay ₹500 Counselling Registration Fee and ₹5,000 Counselling Security Fee, totaling ₹5,500.
- Choice Filling: Log in to fill and lock preferences for colleges by July. Changes can be made until the last date mentioned in the schedule. Print the locked choices for your reference.
- Seat Allotment: Seat Allotment Result will be released in August. Choose to either accept (Freeze) or decline the allotted seat. Opting for acceptance requires paying a Seat Confirmation Fee of ₹40,000 online or via challan.
- Seat Confirmation and Reporting: Pay ₹40,000 as Seat Confirmation Fee if accepting the seat. Report to the allotted college with documents and pay ₹2,000 Administrative Fee by July.
