The State CET Cell, Maharashtra has released the provisional seat allotment list of CAP Round-I for first year postgraduate professional technical course in Master of Computer Applications admissions 2024-25 on August 13. Candidates who are seeking admission for MCA for academic year 2024-25 are eagerly waiting for release of seat allotment, which is tentatively scheduled to be made available on the official website of the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, on August 13. Candidates will be able to check the college allotment status by downloading the allotment list from the webportal.

Candidates who have participated in the CAP Round-I, after clearing the MAH MCA CET 2024, are hereby notified that the State CET Cell, Maharashtra is going to institute-wise allotment in PDF format, by downloading which aspirants will be able check and verify Merit No, Application ID, Merit Percentile, Name of the Candidate, Gender, Candidate Category, and Seat Type.

How to check the MAH MCA CAP Round-I Seat Allotment 2024?

The procedure to check the institute-wise allotment list for MAH MCA CAP Round-I 2024-25 is available below, go through the step-by-step instructions to check that you have been allotted a seat or not.

• Go to the official website of State CET Cell, Maharashtra, which is https://cetcell.mahacet.org/.
• Lookout for an option that reads ‘CAP i.e. Centralized Admission Process’ in the header menu-bar, hit on it.
• Now, you will find an option related to the ‘2024-2025,’ hit on it and get redirected to another webpage.
• Under the section of Technical Education > Post Graduate Courses, an option of ‘MCA,’ will be visible, hit on it and get redirected to the next webpage.
• Here, you will find an option of ‘More,’ hit on it and get redirected to the next webpage.
• Post tapping on the above mentioned option, you will find an option of  Institute Wise Allotment, hit on it.
• Now, you have a list of all MCA Colleges/Institutions, tap on the Download button to download the PDF file and check that you have been allotted any seat in that college or not.

What after the MAH MCA CAP Round-I Seat Allotment 2024

Candidates who will be allocated a seat to get admission for Master’s of Computer Application for academic year 2024-25 in the CAP Round-I will have to participate in the further stage of the admission process. Those who will be allocated a college of their first preference, will be required to deposit the seat acceptance through the candidate’s login by 18 August 2024.

Candidates who will be allocated a college other than their first preference, will have to two options, the first will be ‘Accept & Freeze,’ for those who are satisfied with the allocated college, and second one will be ‘Accept & Non-Freeze,’ for those are seeking betterment in the subsequent round of Centralized Admission Process. The window for exercising these options will be available till August 18, 2024, by 03:00 pm.

Aspirants who will have paid the seat acceptance fee following the seat allotment for MAH MCA CAP Round-I 2024, will have to report to the allocated college with required documents and payment of fee by August 18, 2024, by 05:00 pm.

What if the seat is not allotted in the MAH MCA CAP Round-I 2024?

Candidates who won’t be allocated any seat in the MAH MCA Centralized Admission Process Round-I for academic year 2024-25, needn’t to worry, because they may be allocated a seat in the subsequent round. Aspirants need to know that the State CET Cell, Maharashtra is likely to release the seat allotment list for CAP Round-II on August 23, after the registration and choice filling between 19 to 21 August 2024.
