INCET 01/2024 Recruitment
Indian Navy invited online applications from Indian nationals for various Group B (NG) and Group C posts at various Commands. According to the notification, the Indian Navy announced the recruitment of 741 posts for the Indian Navy Civilian Staff, such as Fireman, Tradesman Mate, Chargeman, etc.
Candidates have applied for the Indian Naval Civilian Entrance 2024 between 20 July and 2 August 2024 against 741 vacancies. The selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s performance in written exams and physical tests, followed by medical examination and document verification.

Indian Navy INCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in joining the Indian Navy Civilian Staff can check their eligibility to apply for the various posts from below eligibility criteria:
Citizenship:
- Applicants must be an Indian national or a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who migrated to India before 1 January 1962 and permanently settled in India, or
- Indian-origin applicants who came from Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Pakistan, Burma, Eastern African countries of Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Malawi, and Ethiopia possess the appropriate eligibility certificate from the government of India.
Age Limit:
- The age limit for most of the posts is between 18 – 25 years except for Chargeman Mechanic & Scientific Assistant with an upper age limit of 30 years and Fireman & Fire Engine Driver with an upper age limit of 27 years.
- The relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM/sportsperson/central government employees according to the government of India directives.
Educational Qualification:
- The applicant must meet the minimum qualification required under the post he wishes to apply for, such as a B.Sc degree in Physics for Chargeman posts, 12th pass and elementary fire course for Fireman posts, etc. Candidates cna check their educational qualifications in the INCET 01/2024 advertisement.
